Re: mobo beeping
it seems to stop when i exit a game after like 1 minute. iwas playing fear when this happened
the syntax of the beep is
(beep.beep.beep.pause.beep.beep.beep.pause.beep.be ep.beep.pause) like that. all are short beeps and the pause is short. i think it may be overheating. any help guys

Re: mobo beeping
ok.do this all-
1.reinsert ur gfx card.
2.insert ram stick one by one and see if u get a beep during POST
3.if nothing like that run memtest (or Ntune stability test) for all components including memory

Re: mobo beeping
how can i remove the lan its onboard. i put a external one 2 days ago. now it also starts beeping like suddenly or stops i dont know why but the beep pattern is the same
im testing ram right now im running at one ram module only
it still beeps with one ram
i believe both my ram mods are ok and working wonderfully
i couldnt have been more stupid. there was so much dust in my pc. i removed my gfx cleaned it and its working fine up till now hopefully. whats wrong with my pc man one problem aftetr another after 2 days intervals. all are serious probs
after cleaning my pc my cpu temperature dropped by 15C!!!
now proc temp is 40(30-core 2, 25-core 1)
i guess it was purely cpu overheating. also just to be sure in device manager i turned off system speaker and used tweakui for stopping it. cant believe dust can cause overheating. i guess the natural enemy of pc is dust which leads to heat!!

Re: mobo beeping
First eterna why did u use sify's connection without a switch.I too have sify's connection but I installed a switch as fast as I could. So get a switch to protect your pc when connecting lan to a internet cable.
On more thing, the onboard lan got fried but maybe the new lan card u got is not properly inserted or is defective. So try removing/reinstalling the new lan card.

Re: mobo beeping
working fine bro. my isp has switches in his place and my connection comes from his switch . all his switches got fried too cost him 7k!!
i just had to clean up my pc and the temp dropped by 15degrees. now its running on 39 at idle and 50 in load. during the problem it was running at 63 in load so i guess that may have caused the prob. also i switched off system speaker
