How to install 98SE after install XP

Hy

Due to some personal requirement i want to install 98SE (outdated for now no doubt) . I currently have windows XP prof. edition of c drive of primary disk. I want to install win 98SE on new partion on another disk(secondry). But from GUI it doesn't allow me. it gives error like 'From xp to 98 not possible. If i install from dos , is it install properly and can i navigate to both os through boot screen.

you will have to use a bootable disk or install from DOS.
after installing you will have to change the boot.ini file .... else it will not giv an option to boot in your XP ...

disconnect d HDD on which u have XP installed

make the other HDD the primary master and install 98 in it

then re-connect the XP HDD and make it the master and the 98 slave

so now if you wan2 boot in2 98 all u got2 do is go to d BIOS and make HDD! as the first boot device and if you wan2 boot XP make HDD0 as the first boot device

everytime you wan2 change the OS u wan2 boot in2 just change the HDD 2 boot from in the BIOS
