Files are invisible

I Have p4 2.6 ghz
1gb of ram, window xp

i have kingston pendrive and
when i tried to copy some files in pen drive .After Re-plug pendrive , all file are invisible my status bar shown 0 objects
but when i show total size , space will less but files are not to seen.

the most it is happen with dvd writer
I put febrauary cd of digit. when i open in mycomputer it also shown 0 objects

y dont you just go to Tools->Folder Option->View and select the option Show hidden files and folders

probably sumthin happened that has made these files hidden by default in these locations

Space are not less they are correct.
I hope u are seeing 954 mb in ur total disk space.
Am I thinking correct..???
There was a thread ruuning for this problem in QnA section.
Ur pen drive had no problem...
