Explorer restarting in VISTA.. Please HELPPP

Hi all...

I have got a problem in vista Home Premium recently.. My Explorer keeps restarting when i open Firefox or when i right click on the VOB file.. These are just the symptoms... and i donno what exactly happened...
Anyone please help..

Need some more details. Anything else u can tell
Meanwhile scan for malware.
Disable thumbnail view.
Uninstall FF temporarily and see if problem persists.

hi..
yeah.. i observed that the explorer is crashing when i right click on a VOB file, that too in Documents folder.. I was not able to figure out why it is happening.. When i open firefox, after some time, it crashes..
I have checked out all the processes for any such worms/malware.. but, could not find any.. I observed that there is an update to windows defender in my installed updates at the time before the problem arose.. do you think that is the issue?
