Default Adobe Creative Suite 2 Officially announced


Adobe has officially announced the new Adobe Creative Suite 2 or CS 2 today, it's a raelly big update as it's being released after almost 2 years & provide a hell lot of new features in Illustrator CS 2 & Photoshop CS 2

there will be two versions released , premium & Standerd the difference being the absence of Acrobat 7 & Golive CS2 from the Standerd Package

Illustrator got a brand new feature called Live Trace, now U can convert your bitmaps to Vector graphics with full layer support & anchor points, the stroke has become more like Phothsop, inside outside or center, & with Illustrator CS 2 U can save in optimized SVG for Mobile phones, with full quality

A brand new addition is Adobe Bridge, which is basically a file manager like application, or better said a control panel for all your adobe stuff, like AI Files or PSD Files

The New photoshop CS 2 got many new features too, like vanishing point tool & most important the smart object feature now U can paste anything, enlarge it & still retain all the quality with smart object, Image qarp which is something U have to see to belive

for the power user, adobe has provided a compleately customized worksapce U can even customise your menus according to your taste

This is a definative update for every design studio, however, only Illustrator CS2 & Photosho CS2 are worth updating as Golive is as it is as before, with Indesign, U cannot add a lot of new features to a Page layout software, it's already compleate

The new features look awesome. Especially the Live Trace, Revolutionary Vanishing Point and Smart Objects feature. Looking forward for this package. I liked the filter gallery in the Photoshop CS, looks like the new features are even better.

It looks awesome and this is a must upgrade for me as i m still usin Adobe Photoshop 7. But wen it will be available for download and wen its full version will be released ???
