DirectX problem

I was installing NFS Most Wanted and after putting the serial the license agreement dialogue box opened but there was no text in it. when I clicked yes one dialogue box appeared as below.



But I have already installed latest DirectX 9.0c. I have also tried reinstalling DirectX, but the game doesn't get installed. and the setup exits after the above screen.

Run the setup in Windows 2000 compatibility mode, should not give this error then.

watz ur system spec., do ur system meet the requirements of NFS MW ? and is it a genuine copy of d game u r installing????.....

The qn genuine or pr@ted has nothin to do here. Seems like some incopatibility b/w display driver files nd DX files.
Dirst get the lates display driver, nd then install latest DX 9.0c like the Nov update of DX 9.0c for XP.
Maybe uve the older versions of 9.0c as MS releses updates for it every 2 or 3 months and most games needs the latest one to get workin.

If this doesn't work, u can try DX9 removal tools to completely remove DX files nd then u can freshly install DX 9.0c latest.

Thanks worked for me.
And yes I have genuine game with latest DirectX 9.0c and my GFX Card is 8800GT.
