Default Is this BSOD?

Hi friends..
While plating song this morning I got a blue screen showing something like this:A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer .
Process or thread crucial to system operaration has unexpectedly terminated...
If this is the first time you have seen this restart computer. If this screen appears again follow these these steps..
1.........
2......
beginning of dumping memory.

What could be the reason for this error?

Thanks..

Well, it is a BSOD, so if it happens again, check out the Error Number that is displayed (it will be something like STOP 0x0000000A) and note any filename that is specified... Now, google for the STOP message and you will be able to pinpoint usually what exactly caused the problem and how to sort it out... Otherwise, post with the STOP message info here and we can go from there...

Did you install any new driver recently before this happened?

You will need to know the error / Code to be able to diagnose the problem.

See GUIDE: Vista 'Stop Errors' or 'The Blue Screen Of Death' Applicable to XP too !
