virtual pc 2007 question

i have configured virtual pc 2007 with vista basic as host system and windows xp as guest. i.e installed vp on vista, then installed xp in vp.

Everythings working great! the only problem is sound. My laptops soundcard is faulty, so i use a usb soundcard. how and where do i specify in xp(the guest os) to use the usb soundcard??

ACtually I wanted to test the usb soundcard, coz its recording part doesn't work in vista..

Did you installed Virtual PC tools ?? please install virtual PC tools

what is Virtual PC tools?? plz elaborate
I have installed virtual pc 'additions' though.. I guess it cld be the same thing.

^^pc 'additions' is same as VPC tools
Try installing some soundblaster drivers..
