Yahoo! Messenger keep on crashing...!!

Recently I have installed new Yahoo's Beta version of Messenger 9.....and I liked its new Vista interface and its skins......!!!!

But this did not last long, one fine morning it just crashed and tried to re-open...

Though it re-opened, when I click on Sign In button...its simply getting crashed...

Then I tried to re-install the Old version of Messenger i.e. Version8

Then too the same thing is repeating...........whenever i click on "Sign In "

its just getting disappeared......

Can some one help me in this matter....

I think your yahoo is infected by some virus.
1) Uninstall yahoo messenger.....
2) Delete this folder c:\program files\yahoo
3) Use cCleaner to clean all files related to yahoo messenger.
4) Reinstall yahoo messenger 8.0

Should solve your problem.
Also turn off system restore before doing all these.

Beta is a bit troublesome for me too. When I SIGNOUT, it crashes

even my yahoo messenger gets crashed at times.............. what i would recommend is u can use trillian which is good alternative........... try it and lemme know..........

I dunno. I'll find out from where I got this info. In the meanwhile please take a look at this.

I presume most of the people installed it from the digit's magazine?? Neways, just remember its a BETA version, which has high probabilty of crashes.

My version is the latest version ie latest version 8 ...downloaded and installed after Jun ' 07.....am sure about that !!!
