double clicking on E: open's E: in another window

Hi
When I Double click on E: in My Computer it open's E: in another window.

The rule is it must open on same window.

When I right click on E: the first option it display's is Open(O) and then Autoplay, Search, Open, Explore.

There r 3 drives on my hard disk. C: D: E:

This problem occurs only on c & e drives.

Please help guys, what is this happening?

In d General tab, select Open each folder in the same window option

Yes "Open each folder in the same window" option is already selected.

But, it doesn't help.

Anymore suggestion's. ????

Some sort of Autorun.ini file has been created by a Trojan. Delete it, it'll be in your Root directory (C:, D:, E: ). Go to Folder Options and enable viewing of Hidden Files and Folders and also uncheck Hide Protected Hidden Files ...... and then Delete the Autorun.ini file and have a Restart.

Same problem is being faced here: Garbage character but here the Autorun.ini has modified the Context Menu options........

Goto Folder Options, there click on "show hidden files and folders" and then uncheck "Hide protected OS files"
Goto the drive and delete the autorun.inf.
Then scan your computer to remove the worm
