Default IE Freezes for a moment..

While browsing the net some times I find that a particular IE Window which is loading the contents from a requested site just freezes for a moment and later becomes active when the contents are loaded. During this momentarily freeze, rest of running applications continue to respond in normal way.

Is this normal or something’s wrong? I have XP2 Professional with some patches installed. IE 6. AMD 2800 Sempron and 512 MB RAM.
Thanks.

That is not problem......
U can find such issue with orkut , gmail.These sites have some script that make it so......

First Upgrade to IE7....it is free.you can download from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow.../getitnow.mspx

Please try IE7 in no add on mode.

Start-->>All Programs -->> Accessories -->> System Tools-->> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

Ya, in IE 7, these issues are minimized and this was much of a problem in IE 6. It specially did it on Microsoft.com pages . Its usually caused by scripts on pages. Upgrading to IE 7 anyways, whether you use it or not, will be a good choice as it upgrades some other system components also.Besides that you can also try Mozilla Firefox, if you like to.
