Default No Web Page

Have a situation we can't find a solution for.

Windows XP Home edition. Using a dialup connection from BSNL GPRS on Nokia 7610. Can dial in and connect with no problem. All connection settings are correct for the ISP being used. However, no matter what, cannot display any web pages. He can ping them, but they will not display in a browser.

Has anyone had or seen this before? If so, can anyone tell us what we need
to do to correct this? Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
