Default Problems with Flashget

Windows XP Pro SP2

I use Flashget for downloading Bittorrent files. Use a Reliance Netconnect wireless internet connection. Before i formatted my pc, i used to get excellent speeds on both bittorrent and http downloads. Now i don't get connected to any tracker and speeds are drastically reduced. My http downloads are still fast enough(talking about 20-30 kbps, considering i live pretty close to a tower).

Also, how can i manually dedicate all my bandwidth to downloading and keep my connection alive at the same time?

Thanks.

flashget for torrents? use it only for direct downloads.. for torrents u would be better off using azureus or utorrent. almost all trackers recommend both of them. Also u can allocate manual download speeds so as to keep ur conn active for browsing.

I have already tried utorrent and azureus but i seem to get best speeds with flashget. Atleast that was so.
Or perhaps u cud tell me the best way to optimize my wireless connection.
Also i wanted to know how to dedicate all my bandwidth to downloading?

Check that the port you are using is open and is being forwarded.

To Pathik,
I use ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.

To Indyan,
Not sure how to check port is open and being forwarded.
Perhaps it's related to the fact that i can't download from referrers as well.

To Batistabomb,
Speeds have reduced dramatically with regard to torrents.
HTTP Downloads are so so.
