problem connecting PSP to PC

when i connect my PSP to my PC via USB cable it shows
"USB device not recognized
one of the USB devices attached has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it."
and in device properties it shows that: No drivers are installed for this device.
please help

no wat i ment was do u have any other USB device attached to the computer other than the PSP?

if so den uplug all d other USB devices and den plu in ur PSP
