MY partition is not accessiable

thats the message i get

all others drives on the hdd r working

i used the drive in afternoon , and now its not working


some1 pls suggest a way to recover the partition

its a brand new hdd, i got it a week ago. 250 GB sata Seagate

pc hanged yesterday n seems MFT has corrupted

i cant use chkdsk cause windows is detecting partition as RAW

its a 170 GB partion i was using to backup from my old hard drive to shift to this new hard drive

but now all backup is stuck

load PartitionMagic and see whether it is RAW or not.

i have paragon hard disk manager it says it is NTFS with 55 GB of Data

after so many recovery softwares failed to recover anything i found Ontrack easy recovery n managed to recover 40 GB of important data

rest is duplicate so didnt waste time to recover that

formatted the partition
