hey, i won't help you in cracking a rar that you hve dl'ed.

but just sharing info in case you ever make your own rar archive and forget the pass (that is legal, i'm sure)
there are softwares that can crack a rar archive's password, but all of them use brute force technique. the good point of brute force is that it will 100% find the password sooner or later. the negative point is that it can take a lot of time. on an avergae PC, the entire process could take years to try out all combinations. however, it is also possible (theoretically), that the first combination it tries is the password, in which cse it'll just take u a sec. in short, it is a matter of luck.
There are softwares that use this technique and also allow u to save sessions - i.e. u try cracking an archive for say half an hour. u save the session and u can later on continue so that the sw won't check combinations it has already checked.
