help explain this error

Hello friends I need to format my entire system, i tried booting by windows xp installation CD but after a while i get one message on screen - ' STOP:C0000221unknown Hard error\systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll ' and booting stops tht ntdll virus is still present inspite of trying various anti virus softwares, Best disk wiping utility 'dariks boot and nuke is slow inspite of using fastest method DoD 32 using 3 passes overwrite speed of 1800kb/s it took 2 days to wipe out entire data frm hard disk which is irrecoverable and still it is going on 24/7.

is there any fastest disk wiping free utility .

First of all NTDLL.dll is not a virus.
The ntdll.dll file is a file created by Microsoft that has a description of "NT Layer DLL" and is the file that contains NT kernel functions. This file is located in the c:\windows\system32 or c:\winnt\system32 directory and can also be found in the c:\i386 directory.
