Unable To Remove StorageProtector Spyware And a Virus!!!

Hi guys
My friend was surfing the net casually (didnt open any illegal or warez site)
when suddenly his computer was bombarded with messages like:
Your PC is unstable
To solve this problem click ok
or
click on windows troubleshooting to solve your instablity
or
Your system has performed an illegal action due to instablity

As he thought sumthing was wrong, he clicked on "OK" and then his PC was filled with popups saying buy storage protector today
even his "my docs" and "c:" is filled with "tmp" files which are not deletable.
I installed Spybot S&D on his pc
it found sum infections in the registry but despite removing them it keeps coming back
also it has created "help and support centre" icon replicating the microsoft icon but its actual target is sumthing like
http://storageprotector... (plz this is not a link!!!!)
How to get rid of this menace??

NOD 32 has also detected this file in system 32
awtqnno.dll
Win 32#adware.virtumonde application
It is unable delete or clean this file
It says "will delete after next restart" but it doesnt happen.
System has slowed down teribbly
How can it be revived????

Try to delete that file from Safe Mode
