Default Partition size of Vista


What size of the partition should i keep to install vistall ultimate and home premium and buisness respectively if i install other application on seperate partition.

Please i need to install vista and i donot know how much disk space i should allocate to it for diff versions.

if only vista..than make it 5-6 GB,.

But I will suggest to use 10 GB

ohhh yes.
yaa..vista itself take around 8 GB.
And minimum hard disk required for vista installation is 15 GB free space.

Actually, I thought in little different way ......

Vista requirements says it needs 15 GB. I would suggest to dedicate somewhere around 20-25GB.

There are lots of updates for Windows Vista.

This is what I will suggest.
Total Partition Size - 30 GB
8 to 10 GB for OS Files.
4.5 to 8.5 GB of Free space for DVD Burning if C:/ is pointed as temp directory
Misc Space for Office and other software
