Default Excel Sheet Doubt

To highlight particular column with some color if that value is set true/false, you can use conditional foramtting under foramt tab.

i can not understand your 1st question
i mean to say that suppose i have a row from 1 to 10 and in that 1 to 3 are color with red and then 4-7 with yellow and 7- 10 with green. in these case i can count manually but if their is case of 1000 rows and column then how do i count.

Your answer to Problem 1:
A A Simple Google Search

Your answer to Problem 2:
Use conditional formatting to change color of a cell based on its contents.

Question Re: Excel Sheet Doubt

Another doubt...
Whenever I make a sheet, suppose i merge 2 or more cells in a column, and then filter them, choose a merged cell element as filter, i expect all the rows with that merged cell to be seen, but i only get the first row of that merged cell.
How can i get all the rows belonging to the merged cell?

Cant be more specific... but hope u understand...

See this... it's filtered.. but not what i want...
