Exclamation Space in C: Drive


Suddenly....my free space from the C drive have been reduced to 350MB from 1.07 GB ...without any installation of any kind of s/w....

Can I remove/delete these files..in the pic below....

disable System Restore and enable again and perform Disk Clean Up. This will increase your free space.

I have checked My Documents....and there is no unwanted file......

also....in the temp folder......there are many files......

(RUN -->temp (not %temp%) )

Are they needed...

:-S I asked you to see the size of your my documents folder. See the size of the folder and if you are able to account for it with all the items inside it

If you want more space, you can also decrease the size of your Virtual Memory

You can clear up the hotfix backups, no issues arise out of doing so.

Use Doug's utility to do so:

whenever trying to delete the files in TEMP folder...my system is not responding and it is getting hanged ...and also....in task manager the EXPLORER.EXE (Username) and SVCHOST.EXE (SYSTEM) are taking a lot of resource...and CPU usage is 100%.....

These are uninstallers for Windows Hotfix Updates. It appears that you have used Autopatcher to update your Windows.

To clean it use CCleaner & check Hotfix Uninstallers. It will delete all unnecessary files.

Guys..please help me....now ....even in idle case the EXPLORER.EXE shoots up to a huge amount...and the system response becomes slow...

look in ur 'documents and setteings' folder. if u had created multiple log-ins to ur system.. lots of space will be occupied these folders. try deleting them except the logins u r using. dnt delte administrotor folders

dnt delete files from windows->temp manually.. use specialize software like "ccleaner".. that way u wnt be risking anything

no that's not a inspirat or transformation pack..it is just a theme developed by Mr.Vishal Gupta ...i think u must be knowing him....
