Question SWF Files Player

I need a software to run swf files, less resource friendly and Win 98 compatible.

Install Firefox 2.0 with Flash Player 9 and go to File------Open and open your SWF file. This also works with Internet Explorer 6 but you need to have Flash Player.

I have Flash installed, but the problem is when I open the swf files it opens up Quick Time instead.

Ok, I get your problem, its one of file associations
1. Keep the shift button of your keyboard pressed and right click on the flash file
2. You will see an option Open With
3. Release the shift key and left click on this option
4. Select from the list of programs iexplore, tick the check box below which says always use this program to open this type of file, and click ok
5. If you do not see iexplore in your list you will have to click the browse button and locate it, and do as above

Problem solved

Nucleus I tried that. But it still open with QuickTime. How can I remove it from the Spybot Whitelist so that it stops opening Quick Time ?

Go to Quicktime preferences in Control Panel and disable the Association for FLASH. You may need to get around the dialogue box. And then reinstall Flash player.
