I am using mbs in xp pack2. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA) checks for available updates to the operating system.

I am also download Offline catalog (Wsusscn2.cab). This is the offline catalog file. Download it from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=76054.

but i dont know how to use it(wsusscn2.cab). plz help me!

dude just now i downloaded it, but iam getting only zip file as wsusscn2.zip

but you are sayong you are getting a cab file, after geeting wsusscn2.zip, extract it in the installed directory, then you will get 6 package files, again extract them and then you will see all the files installed with appropriate folders

ya its a zip file ....but look its extension *.cab

did you extracted all the 6 package files, to where you installed ms base line
