"ares" from ares galaxy a p2p file sharing program does not connects to internet

hi, i recently got my laptop updated with XP pro, this is a dual core machine with 1 GB ram. now ares galaxy does not connects to internet, it simply shows connecting , however i am able to browse through i net with i net explorer, also bitcomet is working fine. Can u guys suggest what should I do to run "ares". Ares is a p2p file sharing program.
