Can anyone tell me how to backup and restore my registry

open regedit

at file click export registry, then save at particular location
and again to get restore back registry, open regedit and file click import registry

Open registry editor by typing regedit in run window.

From the Registry menu, select Export Registry File to save a backup copy of your existing registry entries. Be sure that in export range "All" option is selected. Type the name and place for the backup copy.

For restore, just double click the file you save, or from the Registry menu, select Import Registry File and browse the registry file you saved earlier.

that should solve your problem.

You can manualy take the backup with export option... Or Download the uniblue registry booster for backup
