Default desktop background is not changing

desktop background is not changing when i right click an image and selecting set as background option in the pop up menu but it is changing only when i restart the system.plz helpme.advance thanks.................................

right click desktop-->>properties-->>desktop-->>customize desktop-->>web

1) uncheck "lock desktop items"
2) delete all in webpages list.

Restart..should solve your problem.

This problem happend with me once when I tried to un-install the Vista Transformation pack anyway test one thing issue the change wallpaper command, then restart see if after restart whether the wallpapaer has changed or not ???

By Command I ment simply change the Desktop Background through GUI process you do

the problem is after giving set as background command is not changing the background at thet time after restartying the system only its changing

same problem as I saw... now it came to me as the direct result of imporper un-installation of Vista Transformation pack whats urs ???
