Small video size in WMP11

I recently installed WMP11 from Digit's DVD. When i play video on WMP11, the screen is small even after i selected 200 size (Videos are not in full size). I have 19" Viewsonic, but due to this problem, I am being force to watch videos in 15" size (or less). Is there any thing to tweek or install add-on? Please help.

me too same problem i had viewsonic 1703wb, i think no feature is in wmp11 to asjust aspect ratios, so i switched to vlc and powerdvd and viewing at aspect ratio with pan scan

Then, I think its better to roll-back to our old-faithful WMP10. Or is everyone facing the same thing? How can we compromise with this, especially after paying rediculously huge sum (Vista)?

^^ nothing of that sort in vista not any size problem in my xp wmp 11

are you using widescreen monitor ?

Yes, WideScreen ViewSonic 19". It doesn't work even on my laptop.

thats why I only use MPlayer, Xine and VLC Media Player.

as said working on my vista hp 6516tx ... may be some settings things chk it up

I'm not using Vista dude, i just upgrade WMP10 to 11 using Xp Sp2. Yes, VLC is a good media player But ya can't completely rely on VLC player. I mean when it comes to playlist, Sync and others.

you are right wmp11 has nothing to do with resolution in XP, we should only compromise try some thing better, even recent bsplayer has supporting full screen in widescreen monitor, simply by clickinh "+" sign , try this i always use this for high quality videos

bsPlayer? neva' heard bfore.. ok i'll try it. But is it really worth it? i duno man, i not really a fan of VLC (except their full-loaded codes) and other stuffs.

young joz everone thinks that bsplayer is a basic player with no special features and no any codecs, ,but i prefer this because their shortcut keys are very good we can zoom using "+" key and forward or reverse any part of movie simply by right and left arrow keys

nothing can better VLC on windows machines. Unless you try MediaCoder.

MPlayer + MPUI + win32 codecs = ultimate fun.

SMPlayer is also good.

Media Player Classic HTPC mod is another excellent software.
