Default Help me......data lose here??


Hi! plz plz tell me some very good data recover software which can recover my data which was lost during deleting the partition to install Ubuntu on it. actually i making a drive to install linux when i delete it ( so linux can easily use free space) it also delete my other three partitons now i hv lost approx 53 GB data which is so essential for me ? so plz my freinds tell me all good data recovery software so i can rever my data which is specially text data,my stored web pages songs and BOOKS

did u deleted the partition inside windows or during linux installation.Have u succeded in installing linux.If yes try to mount all partitions inside linux and check if the data is really lost

all he did was click delete partition. good . this means data is still there.

use some data recovary tool(a live CD) and see wahat can be done. Just don't install anything.

Use the ultimate boot cd. I think there is a tool call TestTool which is fantastic in recovering lost partitions, i myself has recovered my 5 partitions after such a crash. Its not much newbie friendly though. its interface is command line based and make sure you read everything it says. OK. Tell me if you have any problem with it.

thax for all of u for reply! i used Recover My Files ! 'n' this is awesome yaar it recovered all my data i mean every file it recovered! this is really great! now plz tell me how this recover all this ! i don't hv made new partitions coz i still recovering it !

are its recovering because you deleted only the partition, not the files in it.

its now unformatted HDD space

but some software can still recover from it

but had you installed any OS or formatted a drive, you would have been a sure gonner

next time look carefully before deleting partitions

and best of luck with your ubuntu install
