Default Directx problem

While trying to install cod4,i tried to install directx9.0c and failed.Actually mine was already the latest. But now the system seems to have broken because i get an error about some dx file when starting game.
Also on trying to install dx9 from the game dvd give this error

"A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographics Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid."

ok here's the situation:

1.pirated game.
2.pirated windows.

I don't think it is ok to tell you the turn around but you can download latest directx from other sites too or even from torrent sites.

I am 200% sure the game you have has many viruses.

yeah I too guess.
better do one thing.
Update ur windows with latest directX........and check ur directX version using.

start-->>run-->> type dxdiag press enter
you will get all info regarding your DirectX installed.

if that don't help...than it is problem with ur Game CD.

bah do c:\dx and extract then go to c:\dx and click the setup.exe.Man Can't believe it!

My 2 cents do a clean install and then reinstall everything all over again.

Extract any where. Say in my document/directX

Than open that folder..and click on setup file.
Run the setup..and restart the system.
