Can mp4 video be played on K750i

I downloaded mp4 videos and when i open it no display comes only sound comes and i had a file of sony ericsson mp4 file on my phone which i can see but why not these videos.

ok so use a converter i suggest www.effectmatrix.com is one of the best converter and convert it to .3gp and then put it into your mobile and play

Two possible reasons:

1) The file is NOT a video file but an audio file (Nero AAC uses .mp4 as extension for audio files).

2) The encoding bit rate is very high. Use Nero Recode or any other MP4 converter to lower the bit rate to about 199kbps and resolution to 176*144.

All MP4 videos with that format play fine on SE phones
