Default does FDM completely integrate with Firefox ??


i had a question Free Downlaod Manager is not completely intgerated with Firefox ..

many of my downloads start with Firefox download manager..

and not with FDM..

why ??
only few start off with FDM

IN MY OPINION FDM COMPLETELY INTEGRATE WITH FF
CHECK INTEGRATION STATUS
OPTION > DOWNLOAD OPTION > MONITORING
AND
SKIP FILE EXTENSIONS ALSO

no i don't have any such options

all downloads fron sourceforge and forums are being missed by FDM
not only that even the .mp3 files direct download links

it does integrate with ff but not with opera ... so i use orbit with opera which is not that great but ok .....

i've been using FDM with ff, and each n every dl till date has started with FDM

It is integrated......But i am having helluva time with it.....

some times when u click the link ....it begins dld & in the end the file is .php based & not the exact file....lol

That usually happens from sites like sourceforge where the link is actually for international mirrors. I workaround this problem by
1. Clicking cancel for the link captured by FDM and then the firefox download dialog box opens-> save file.
2. As it is saving Select the download link from the dialog box with your mouse. If you have set FDM to monitor clipboard it will capture the link, else highlight drag and drop into the download basket.

gigaget works like a charm with the flashgot extensions. Just my two cents

or get flashgot extension 4 ff .........
