DVD movie saoftware

i hv some movies on my hard disk which i want to burn on DVDs, so i can play them on my regular DVD player...i hv tried some softwares. 1 or 2 were very slow and 2 were not giving good picture quality. can anyone here plzzzz suggest any good software !

will surely try what u hv suggested bro ! the softwares which i was trying were taking anything between 3 to 4 hrs !

i use nero 6 and it has option.
i can be also in nero 7.

open help present at the directory of start button -> search there -> you will get

In Nero 7, open ur Nero start smart - go to photo and video. There u will find option to Make DVD Video, modify DVD Video, Convert DVD Video movies, etc.

OK.The reason why I asked this is Infrarecorder takes about 45-55 mins to write a movie DVD on my system.Me being new to DVD writing,thought it was too slow.But seeing those times,I think infrarecorder is really fast.
