Question XP HOME doesnt support multip[le cores?

I recently got hold of a XP HOME edition. While trying to find out the diff. between PRO and HOME i came to know that HOME doesnt support more than 1 cores among other things. Is it true or has that been changed?

It Does! But it doesn't support two Physical Processors Processors (i.e. Supports Multi-Core, but not Multi-Processor).

Simple way to check is to perform 3-finger-salute (i.e. Ctrl+Alt+Del) and click 'Performance' Tab. If you see multiple boxes in CPU Usage History (each for a one core), Then Multi-Core is working properly.

It will support core 2 duo.
It doesn't support seperate physical processors.
