Please Help: Virus and Hardware Problem

Hello Guys,

Straight through the point, my 1st problem is the hard disk drive issue. Although i can fully access or browse the hard disk drive, the computer always gives a USB/Flash Drive icon on the system tray. Take a look at the screenshot below and you'll see what i meant.



The Hard disk drive capicity is 160 GB manufactured by Hitachi running on Windows XP Service Pack 2.

My 2nd problem is caused by a virus (i guess). Here is the screen shot below. I'm not sure whether its a virus or not, but i will be very thankful if someone could give me a tips.

Well for the first problem, check in ur device manager where do the Hitachi HDD situated? It should be in the hard disk drive section. R u using a USB drive encased in a casing ? Also check http://www.fixya.com/support/hitachi/ to get support.

Regarding your second problem, I think that it is not a virus, rather it is happening due to the theme u set up for xp. I think it is just a change of language in the view section. Remove the theme and re check.
