Default AVAST or kaspersky?...


Guys...what do u think?...Shall I opt for AVAST or KASPERSKY...which is good in terms of security...I am planning to buy the best...

Since you want to buy then go for "Kaspersky" otherwise avast! Free edition is sufficient.

I think Avast is good enough.
No need to spend on Kaspersky.If you have bucks to burn then buy it.

Kaspersky is good in terms of security and Avast is in its simplicity
but i think u should go for kaspersky u know?

Why you want to spend on Kaspersky(a good av though) when you can get aVast Home Edition for free.

EDIT: Contacted Integra and spoke to sudheesh. here is the details.

KIS single user licence @ Rs. 1600+ TAX
2 user licence @ Rs. 1525 + TAX/each

Thats true. But almost at the same price you can get total internet security, all in one package wid Kaspersky. For most home users the bundled anti-spam, exe/registry guard, parental controls, anti-hacker firewall etc. are enough.
