Hidden Folders not showing , Rontok removed then also

in my computer , whenever i click folder option > Show hidden files and folders , and click apply . it does nothing and when iagain go to folder option . the radio button is on Do not show Hidd... .

i was infected by a varient of rontok or whatever by my friend. with my avast running . avast did not detected at the first time . but i think i removed from startup .

i can open regedit and task manager


ANY HELP?

goto RUN type 'regedit'

navigate to
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Win does\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SHOWA LL

now on the right side
look for Dword 'CheckedValue' and set the value to 1

if this DWORD doesn't exist then create one.....

It did work for me.
But still can't access Taskmanager, Regedit and MSConf utilities.

^^ that means the script is still activated in your system.

use a good anti virus to clean ur system. and then try using the files that i have attached.

problem solved in my case , after a restart.

i havent restarted system for 3 days

after restarting problem vanished
