I havent dwnloaded driver magician yet.But frmm the info I got from the download site I think it is used only for backup and restore of drivers not for updation.DRVER MAX is a superb software but the prblm is It doesnt automatically download the drivers or give us the link to do so .It just says that the driver is outdated and needs updation.I cudnt therefore find the driver with the version number they are saying.

SO PLEASE SOME ONE TELL ME ANY SOFTWARE THAT DOES SO PLEASE...

I used Driver Magic to scan my DELL Vista Lappy (March 2007 US Origin) and it listed 28 Drivers of which it said 26 have later versions.I then scanned it with Driver Agent
http://driveragent.com/?PHPSESSID=05...nfdub3htudbdc3
and it listed 30 drivers of which only 8 require to be updated.Of course these 8 are indicated by Driver Magic apart from 18 others which Driver Agent says needs no updating. So it is really confusing unless someone comes up with a valid explanation. As said in an earlier post it is a pain to search and obtain the later versions indicated by Driver Magic.Vista also searches for updated drivers over the internet but I presume it searches only in the Windows updates and comes out that it cannot find any better drivers than the ones installed and asks me to be happy So I am throwing this question which is true? Driver Agent or Driver Magic? I revel in creating controversies
