Default Pc Freezes!


Hi I have a P3 with win xp and randomly it freezes plz help!
Ram: 512
Grphiccard: Matrox g200

hey i thing that the problem is with the prossesor fan it might not be working check it and get it replaced if nessasary,
and if it is working then the problem may be in ur pro or ram

Freeze problems are 99% due to Over heating Check CPU temp and if >75 its the culprit.

Solution for everything is not amd or nvidia...

Check out the power cable might block the fans and also the above

I think krishnathelord & pradeep_chauhan are correct. Check your Processor Heatsink and Processor Fan.

As far as I know, if there is a problem with your RAM, then your OS will give a blue screen dump error.

Since you Processor is P-III, your processor temperature should not cross 40 'C at idle and around 50 'C to 55 'C at load.
