Folder Lock Help !!!!!!!!

Hi,

I've installed Folder Lock tool (trial)few days back, and put some imp files in it. Everything went well till i forgot the password. I came to know that registering the product will solve my problem unfortunately i had registered that as well & followed their instructions but nothing worked out.

Customer care is taking time to get back...

So, Pls help me in getting the files back as it is very important & urgent..

I'm using Windows XP, Folder Lock 5.7.9(registered)

put the user name by which u registered ur folder lock
user name is folder lock's default pass

Definitely without the password you cannot do anything. If you have registered then try contacting for the support. It might help. Or look for any other option for the same. I also had the same problem long time ago. But that time i reinstalled my OS for the hell Folder Lock.

1. Open registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Quali tyControl
_pack = "this is encrypted password "

2. We assume that the value of _pack = espxttbqfwpm~~~~
ignore symbol ~ because folderlock don't read that symbol

3. afterward permute "espxttbqfwpm" so the first char become the last char and the last char
permute to the first char.

"espxttbqfwpm" will be "mpwfqbttxpse"

4. The further step : withdraws all characters totalling one character.

m is withdrawn one character to l because location of l is one character before m
p is withdrawn to o because o is one char before p
w will be v because v is one char before w.
f will be e because e is one char before f
q will be p because p is one char before q

et cetera


5. We will find the original folderlock password = lovepassword.

Boot from any Linux Live CD. You can access those files locked by Folder lock. Then copy it into a different location. thats it.

Dont try to hide folder from anyone. Keep it always open as My Avatar
By the way In my sense Folder Lock software is Quite buggy. Use other software.

Dude you Boot in with linux live CD you can definitely access the folder which you have locked .it is the best and easiest method to recover your files

yeah, I know, sorry about that, but after he recovers his files, he may need to hide them again, right? so we're providing future-safe solutions(!)
