i hv a pic which is very bright. i want to lighten it. how do lighten it?

DOWNLOAD IRFANVIEW and open the desired picture in that go to
Image-> enhance colours

advanced software in use comes if you want to bright or dark each and every part in a picture, so i think photoshop is the best ever and ever for adjusting image utils using selection and wand tools

try photoshop ........ & toggle with hue\saturation else darken\lighten ....
