my modem-utstar300r2u connect-BSNL HOME500 PLAN i setuped the static ip (from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.136)and followed every step but got stuck in the last step of port forwarding http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2295/untitrk3.jpg i use utstarr2u as my modem and here is the screen of the advanced settings .it does not have the virtual server screen at all http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/4982/untitlgn0.jpg pleas help me |

Ahh...My bad!!Didn't have a look at screenies since net was acting funny.
@ sanjeed007: You can try setting up DMZ mode.This will open up all ports for anyone.This can be a security risk if you have got services running on those ports.Or else it's just fine and to easier to set up than port forwarding.

I have a config like this
Laptop -> wireless router -> BSNL huwaei modem --> internet I've setup port forwarding in wireless router. now should I setup the same for huwaei modem? does the connection goes out the same port from wireless router? somebody H....E....L....P Quote:

The Newer UTStarCom Modems have their Telnet Interface Menu (the Shell Works, but the menu is removed) and Port Forwarding Page Removed!
You can apply the firmware from Beetel Modems. Both use the same Processor and Chipset. But I donno if that works correctly.
