Real Player Uninstall Problem

I have win xp and installed real player just after installin windows.
Now when i click on Real Player icon..it doesnt launch!!
So i tried uninstalling it from our Add or remove programs..but it gave "Uninstaller component missing"

It has a host of files in my regedit...how do i remove it???

go to cmd prompt and type regedit
here
navigate to hkey_local_machine->software->microsoft->windows->currentversion->uninstall
here see whether you found something like real or real player if not starting from first you will find some keys something like 000fhgki900658nkjkk10102,click on these and see on the right side you will find some entries under those you will find real or real player under display name category,now when you find it

come to left side and right click and delete the entire key (some thing like 000ershtork937510erhti)

remember i just for example wrote keys like above in real they are different

Get proper setup for real player.Than install real player again at same location.

Now either use real player..or uninstall real player.
