How to get HP Recovery Disk Set from them?

Guys I hav a Compaq laptop with Vista home pre installed.
I tried to install XP... and there..
I cant find the drivers..
So I am running a system with limited functionalities and a void waranty!!
I need to restore the Vista back...
The problem is that I lost my recovery disk set too..
Can any one tell me how I can get a new set of disks from HP?
After all I paid them for the OS too!!!

READ the USER MANUAL, about "Standard Recovery".
then, when booting up, press F12/F10, & then follow onscreen instruction to install Vista from "Recovery Partition", ie, if you didnt format it.

or call HP & get a replacement disk.(not easy)

F11 for recovery from boot partition. Btw- what model do you have?

if you see at bottom of ur lap you can find seria no for your Windows
so u can install any vista and apply that serial no

for recovery disk you have to pay them again
go to HP site and order 1 new Disk

i think only OEM Vista will work with that key.

btw try to get the Recovery Disks, coz when you install Vista thru it, it'll install all the neccessary Drivers too.

otherwise, you'll hav to d/l & install the drivers manually.
