U can download the list of some Academic Projects from here.
And some Industry Projects also.

Try to read them. U can understand much better thru them.

ok they had something similar back in 2005 called "Students Project Program" which I joined. after a 6-8 months of hard work we submited the project and got a Completion Certificate as a return.
