Limewire problem
guys im using limewire but whenever i open it it just closes in 1 second, i did restarting virus scanning all the stuff but still this happens any help?

Reinstall java VM. Most of the times, that the culprit. Can you run any other Java based apps? (like azureus etc.?)

@infra_red_dude-YES, reinstall JRE from the sun java website. When you download with a download manager try to download without splitting the file, it sometimes corrupts. Use wget or WinWget for Windows if you know how

Well most likely the problem with a system file since u said u reinstalled the java and limewire.

Try deleting the limewire preferences folder.Assuming you are using XP and installed it in C:\ drive,it can be found in
C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\LimeWire.Do this while limewire is closed!!

do a clean uninstallation = remove all files related 2 limewire ..... then restart ... & install again .......
