What is the cause for the error which says physical memory dump?

Today I got a blue screen which mentioned Physical memory Dump. Need to restart computer.
IRQL_NIRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_Equal

This is the first time I got the error message. Mine is a new computer. I was working with u torrent when I got this message and prior to that I was burning a DVD.

What could be the reason for this error message? The error message says that it could be due to Hardware or software that was installed recently. I have not installed anything recently. Atleast not for the past 2-3 days. Do I need to update any drivers?

if its a new computer and u r getting this msg then probably ur RAM is damaged.......BTW can u name the brand of ur RAM.....

Memory Dump is NOT a Error.. Its a dump of erroneous data in the memory for Debugging Purpose.

is any .dll/.sys file Mentioned the BSOD?

Usually happens with bad USB drivers. Installed any new USB Modem Drivers?

use cCleaner to clean all offline files, recycle bin files, temp files and all.
Also do full disk cleanup of all drives, and defragment all drives.

If problem continues, please post ur system configuration.The probelm may be due to incompatibility of hardware like graphics card, LAN card any USB drive and its driver

Ya the main cause of Physical Error is that vulnerability in the Driver installation which leads to faulty IRQ allocations or DMA control for the device which is installing.
