Hidden files not showing up

hey guys,

i am fedup with cleaning all the viruses, nw the problem i am facing is that the hidden files are not showing up evn when i apply the Show hidden files option.
plz help me out

goto run and type 'regedit.exe'

goto the location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHO WALL

look for DWORD 'CheckedValue' and change its value to 1.
restart ur PC
u will now be able to see hidden files....

but u dont need to restart ur pc to register evy change in the registry...
just end the process "explorer.exe" from task manager and run it again..
