Re: speed up pc performance ?
I dont know if there is such software available or not. But u can do something like removing unnecessary registry entries through CCleaner.
Disk defrag atleast once in a month. unnecessary programme which are running in background. If u are able to find out that file.
Lets see what other say,

Re: speed up pc performance ?
some common tips:
1) Avoid big theme..infact prefer windows default theme.
2) Do regular disk cleanup....disk defragment.....registry cleanup, registry degragment.
for this, there are many softwares like...tuneUp, ccleaner.
3) Remone unwanted program at startup...using msconfig command in run.
there are lots more tips here

I would disagree with the first method.msconfig is meant for troubleshooting.Disable startup apps from within the program itself.

Re: speed up pc performance ?
Installing more than 2 os doesn't degrade system performance. It's just a myth.

Re: speed up pc performance ?
What he probably meant was that Dual-Boot timeouts slow your PC down.
