Backup Vista using DVD ??

I want know....is it possible to make backup of windows vista on a dvd.....installing all softwares and settings..

Main puropse is to avoid installing software n settings....

Is there any softwares ??.

install Vista, install all Softwares, then use Norton ghost to take a Image back of the whole Partition... now I fear it will be much more than the allowed Size of a DVD 9
