i have a virus called maskrider2001.vbs in mah pc..!!

it does nt allow me to double click open my drives...if i double click any drive is says...""cannot find script file C:\maskrider2001.vbs""
though i can open my drives by right clicking open..!!

i searched the registry fr maskrider...and watever entries i found i deleted them..!!
wen i delete them the drives work fine till the time i dont restart my pc..!!
wen i restart fr some purpose thn those entries come again and the drives again start to behave the same way..!!

i find the maskrider in the following locations..

delete all autorun.inf and this vbs file(if exists) from the root of every drive(even your usb drives connected). They may be super hidden so first unhide them. Run msconfig from RUN and under STARTUP uncheck all traces of this virus. U can also open services.msc from RUN and look for any traces of this virus and stop it and set its startup to Disabled. Also search for the vbs all over C drive and delete them before restarting . You can also turn off Autoplay feature from Gpedit.msc if it exists upon right clicking your drives.

1)Turn off system restore.
2) Scan your computer using a good updated antivirus
3) scan your computer using two updated antispyware.

Best way...do online scaning..and scan while booting .
Find some online scan options here:
